All of our teachers must take at least 10 hours of continuing education in early childhood every year, and all of our lead teachers must have at least 6 months experience in a licensed center.
Say hello to our staff
Ms. Laura has been Preschool Director at our center since 2009 after nearly five years of leading the Little Ones Ministry of Life Church. She has worked in the Early Childhood field since 1992 in a variety of positions but finds the current one her favorite.
She loves Jesus, her family, and her job, and her passion is supporting young children and their families in their walk with the Lord as they’re introduced to formal schooling. Knowing that learning happens best in the context of a relationship, Laura is excited to be part of this team of women that love Jesus and love children!
Francine has cared for children for 10 years, both in her home and at Life Church. Since 2012 she has worked part-time at Life doing childcare for the special events held on the church campus.
In August of 2014 she became Ms. Laura’s Administrative Assistant, and really enjoys being around the children and teachers on a daily basis. In addition to her affinity for numbers, her spiritual maturity and wisdom are a great asset to the preschool staff.
Ms. Francine loves the Lord, her family, and all children. Her heart’s desire is that children will know how much their heavenly Father loves them and that they are “fearfully and wonderfully made….” Psalms 139:13-16.
Ms. Christina started at Little Blessings as a substitute in 2010 and has thoroughly enjoyed her time leading the little ones at our preschool.
Working with children has always been a passion of hers, and she thanks Life Church and our preschool for the opportunity to live out her dream job.
Since coming to this church, she has grown deeper in her faith and has grown in her personal relationship with God, giving Him the glory for all of the amazing things He has done in her Life, including working at Little Blessings.
Ms. Crystal is originally from Wellsville Kansas, and has lived in Olathe since 2006. She has been married to Brian since 2005, and in July of 2007 she gave birth to Garrett, then in July of 2009 they had Gage who both attended preschool at Little Blessings.
She subbed occasionally at Little Blessings, and in 2016 she accepted a lead teacher position. Ms. Crystal has an Associates Degree in Business Administration and has sold real estate, ran an in-home daycare, and worked with a couple churches before coming here.
Ms. Crystal has a love for kids. She loves to see the little ones learn new things each day, and is excited to teach them about God’s love for them. Her love for Jesus shines in and through her.
Erin began as a substitute at LB in the summer of 2011. Before that, she was avidly involved in Little One’s, the weekend children’s ministry of Life Church for 6 years. Working with all different ages of children, she realized how incredible and precious the little ones are.
Because Erin’s mother worked in the early childhood field since before she was born, Erin was always around young children. Growing-up seeing her mother’s passion for children and helping them in their walk with Christ has really influenced Erin to follow that career path herself.
Erin received Associates Degrees in Early Childhood, General Sciences and Liberal Arts from Johnson County Community College in May of 2017, and was married to her wonderful husband Dan one week after graduation. She fully believes that children teach the teachers, as much as the teachers teach the children, and she is excited to learn all kinds of things from your “little blessings” this year.
“Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but instead set an example for other believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity,” 1 Timothy 4:12.
Natasha grew up in Osawatomie, and is now a resident of Gardner, KS. She is married and has two children. Natasha has been a stay at home mom, but is excited for this new season of life and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the children at Little Blessings.
Natasha’s mother was a preschool teacher for over 40 years, and even had her daughter as a student! Natasha would often help her mother at preschool, so the shared experience of leading little ones passed on a love for children to Natasha.
She has attended Life Mission Church for over 10 years and is grateful and blessed to be part of such an incredible group of people at LMC and Little Blessings preschool.
First and foremost, Mrs. Tiffanie loves the Lord! She also enjoys soccer, photography, spending time with children and getting the opportunity to combine all of those things!
Mrs. Tiffanie graduated from University of Central Arkansas with her MS in Counseling Psychology in 2012 and she has an amazing son who attends Little Blessings. She loves investing in children and has years of experience doing so in various capacities from counseling, leading small groups for young girls, serving in youth ministry, volunteering in Pink room during weekend services, working both soccer and church summer camps and having a young child of her own. Mrs. Tiffanie started at Little Blessings Preschool in 2016 and is thankful for the opportunity to pour into the young lives of those in her class!
Mr. Corey has worked as a Substitute Teacher’s Assistant since May 2015 and has attended Life Mission Church since 2004. He is a recent graduate of Youth with a Mission-Kansas City and is currently studying at Johnson County Community College.
Mr. Corey has a passion for Jesus and for using his influence as a male role model to help young men know the love of Christ.
Early Childhood Specialist & Consultant
Ms. Kay received her master’s in social work from KU. Kay’s social work training emphasis is in Early Childhood/Early Elementary, and families, and has practiced her social work as a family therapist and play therapist.
Over the last 20 years, she has worked with preschool children in many different capacities from therapist to teacher to mom. She absolutely loves preschoolers, their imaginations and how they view their world. It is her favorite age of children.
Kay and her husband Joe have been married since 1992 and have 4 children. Wyatt was born in 1996, Josiah in 1998, Cade in 2000, and Lulit joined their family in 2009. Her greatest calling as a mom and as a teacher is sharing the love of Christ with the children within her sphere of influence.
When her children were little they would ask her what her one wish what would it be? She always answered, “That each of my children would walk with Jesus all of their lives.”
Before joining the staff at Little Blessings, Ms. Kimberly lived with her husband and two children in Colorado Springs, CO.
She worked as a Director of Market Research in commercial real estate before staying at home with her daughter Halana, and son Caleb.
Her education includes a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A & M University, and an M.B.A. in Real Estate from the University of TX.
Kimberly loves interacting, laughing, and finding ways to connect with the children at Little Blessings. Her hobbies outside of work include weight lifting, reading, serving others, and spending time with her family.
